Sarasota: A Small Town on Cultural Steroids
This week “LET’S TRAVEL” visits the historic city of Sarasota on Florida’s west coast. There’s more to see and do here besides tanning on its sandy-white beaches and enjoying the warm-temperate climate this time of year. It’s a city of Art and Opera, Music and Dance. As one of our guests, Martine Collier, put it: “Sarasota is a small town on cultural steroids.” Sarasota also is home to the world famous John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art located on a 66-acre estate on Sarasota Bay with 21 galleries of art.
